Apache 2.0a9 Released
Eric Sun writes: "Apache 2.0 is now one step closer to reality. Alpha 9 is now available for download at the Apache download page. You can also read the changelog here." On a side note, they are hoping this is going to be their last alpha, and that they will be releasing a beta next month. -
Registrations Now Accepted For Asian Domain Names
Eric Sun was among the first to point out that as of Thursday evening, VeriSign has begun accepting Chinese, Japanese and Korean domain names. "This increases the possible characters from 37 (26 letters, 10 numerals, and hyphen) to 40,282.
