    This is the first P2P application that I've seen with encryption built into it.
    You should get out more... ;-) Seriously, Freenet and MojoNation are loaded with crypto, as is BitTorrent.

    Besides, Intel's library isn't an application.

    Bittorrent
    does that! It's not really trying to be a napster or gnutella but a way to allow people to host a high volume website without having a lot of bandwidth. It works seamlessly with mozilla and IE. It's also quite fast unlike the anonymous p2p networks.

    bittorrent has some of what you're looking for. It automaticaally mirrors when you download, helping ease the load on the server for poular downloads. Worth checking out. It could probably be run over ipsec if you wanted to.
