Have to agree here too. There now follows a gratuitous Linux story to keep slashdotters happy...

I purchased three 10/100 NICs for 2.42 (TWO POUNDS FORTY TWO!) each and threw one in a Redhat 9 box to replace an ageing 10Mbit 3Com card. The new NIC was automatically detected and configured and set to 100Mbit/full duplex without a hitch.

You're being diddled, son. Even in the UK, you can get them for 12p (~18c).

If you're in the UK, check out this site - lots of good storage ideas for cheap prices.

Personally, I go for the 24x fabric cases - higher density than jewel cases, they fit in CD racks, and you can label the spines - so finding stuff is easy.

£1.25? Try 43p at www.blankdiscshop.co.uk. They also have the Pioneer 104 at 200 quid. At these prices I'm getting sorely tempted.
