Not only does it have cute little furry animals, it simultaneously calls Google employees geniuses and really dumb. It makes environmentalists mad, but also people who hate the environment (and kill cats).

Well, I'm sorry to Godwin this thread so early, but those seemingly benign furry faux friends are definitely up to something sinister: Kitlers http://www.catsthatlooklikehit...

If I want to do stuff that doesn't involve deep thought, I play some mindless video game (like an old NES game with an emulator, or an old arcade game like Pac-Man), or I go hiking or biking, or maybe watch some silly TV show like Big Bang Theory.

And other people watch Honey Boo Boo and Duck Dynasty. Some smoke weed. Some find themselves on mindless websites. I fail to see why those choices are any less valid than yours.

You also seem to know an awful lot about Duck Dynasty; are you a closeted fan? I've never seen an episode myself -- no CATV in the Shakrai household -- the little bit I know about it comes from those people that get offended over it, which amuses me because nobody is forcing them to watch it.

BTW, you may think Robertson is an idiot, but he's made millions of dollars while you tilt at windmills on Slashdot.

Our cat didn't kill baby bunny rabbits, but would capture and torture them. The cat would lay down and lounge next to the rabbit. As soon as the rabbit tried to run away, she would jump up. and catch the rabbit again.

A pair of aggressive Blue-Jays wanted to build a nest near our house, and started attacking our cat. I got a school friend to come over with a .22 and bird-shot. That solved the problem.

On the other hand, some red-breasted robins built a nest, in a Japanese Cherry tree, right next to our dining room window. That was real cool to see how the birds fed their chicks. And they never attacked the cat.

OS/2 is the type of operating system Hitler himself would write if he was smart enough and had the knowledge and skill sets to do it.

Yo. I've heard lots of criticism about IBM's ill-fated OS/2 . . . but this one is a real gemstone. The has to be the biggest power-slam Godwin that has ever graced the Internet.

Actually, Hitler didn't do much himself . . . he ordered other folks to do stuff that he wanted done. Like, Albert Speer, who built up the war industry. And Werner von Braun and his rockets. Or Konrad Zuse ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konrad_Zuse ), who actually did build a computer in Germany during World War II.

So, I don't think there's any point on speculating on what the Führer's operating system would look like.

Another point that comes to mind . . . Gordon Letwin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordon_Letwin) of Microsoft did a lot of the groundwork for OS/2. I've heard that he was a real onery chap to deal with . . . so maybe there is something to your theory.
