Re:Google plus
I have dropped my Gmail account and have gone to http://gmx.com/
Ok, a quick glance shows this to be another free email provider. So what's the catch? How do they pay for it?

For video upload, I will be using Vimeo instead of Youtube. And the sole reason is the push they want to give to Google+ and the sneakiness they use to let you click to be connected to Google+
Watching video's, I still do. I now use Unique Youtube Skin to have a much better layout and not have the mobies play automagically,. so I can open several tabs and watch them one after the other.

Re:Thanks Google
I just don't comment on Youtube. Not a big deal.
I am sure very soon I will not be able to watch movies on Youtube, unless I log in. That will be the next step.I will most likely soon be deleting my gmail account.Instead I now just use my own domain name for email via my provider. fetchmail will get it. ssh access will make me use mutt.
I use gmail as spambox. For that I will use http://www.gmx.com/ who are a great mail provider.

Not a new idea
GMX http://gmx.com/ has had a very similar feature for a long time. You get to create several extra addresses that all point to your inbox.
