Spam declining?
Actually, according to my spammeter the amount of spam has been slightly declining over the past few months. I'm still at around 400/day level though... -

So are they going to make my bandwidth tax-deductable? -
Business as usualAccording to my spammeter it barely made a dent in the sea of spam I'm getting these days.
It took my baesian filter a few to learn to recognize it, since then I'm not affected by it in any way. Of course, I'm not exactly a big Windows user either....

My filters still workLooking at my spam folder, I've been getting a lot of those lately, but my SpamBayes is still remarkably accurate. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that I trained it on spam and legit e-mail going back at least two years. So I am not too worried.

My spammeter
Here is the obligatory reference to my spammeter. It is definitely growing, although, interestingly enough there appears to be a drop from a peak in mid-december. Don't know if this can be attributed to recent anti-spam efforts by the governments, more likely it's just the spammers taking christmas vacations....

Here is how much spam I get
I took the time to set up this script the other day, and being the strange person that I am I also had saved all spam in a separate folder, so was able to graph this going some time back:

it's out of control, that's for sure.
