    In my opinion good properly designed software has to do a lot with "who" and less with "process and how". If you look carefully you will see real people behind good software. You should try to find out how these real people think and work, what are their values.     I found it interesting in this graph in the article that, beginning around 2004, the popularity of Python closely follows the popularity of Delphi. Is this some kind of flaw in the methodology in how the data was collected, like too small a sample size (as Delphi has nothing to do with Python I think)? Or is there some overall pattern causing this? A few others are pretty close in some spots, too, in terms of first derivatives.

    Note that the server isn't really /.ed at the time I am writing this, but is throttling itself based on limitations of the hosting account (says only 10 concurrent servings). If you keep trying (aka refreshing the browser) you will get the image I linked to above.
