Re:well, duh!
I wroked drywall summers of 88 89. Ticketmaster office less than block from Drywall. Nice job. Xytec looked like a thrown-together building perfect for me--even image processing like I liked. Graphic technologies, totally CIA red team. Wanted me to crack the SHA so we could refill printer cartridges. Now, http://www.losethos.com/ . unlikely I'm on the external Internet.

Re:Could become the 'Desktop Linux'
I resent your zero-sum leftbrain/rightbrain comment because I highlight songs in LoseThos. The melodies are from God. I did the words. I make lots of clever word plays:
"Be like a child, some respect. Maturity, don't neglect."
I view that skill as an indicator of programming skill. I wrote ever one of the 135,000 lines from scratch for LoseThos. I write concise code!
My art in LoseThos is bad, so I hired an artist. He turned-out to be a homo and filled it with nasty homo stuff. Sucks. All real artists are homos, though. ROFLMAO. Disney knows what I mean.
You're a homo psychologist, am I right?

Secure Boot
What are they doing about secure boot? Game over. Sucks.
I wrote the LoseThos Operating System. It's been 64-bit since 2007. It's a free, 100% open source, public domain, ring-0-only, idenity-mapped, multi-tasking, multi-cored, non-networked, x86_64 operating system. It includes a 64-bit kernel, 64-bit compiler, assembler, debugger, graphics library, editor, boot loaders, tools... 135,000 lines of code written entirely from scratch over the last 9 years, full-time.

LoseThos
Why waste time with Linux when there's LoseThos?

Re:It's still a GPL violation
If you can't build LoseThos with a GPL licenced compiler... maybe that's because there is no GPL code in LoseThos. I wrote everything from scratch, including the compiler. LoseThos began as a TASM project -- pure assembly in 1993. Download this http://www.losethos.com/files/HOPPY.ZIP . As you will see, it has the embryo of my compiler. I let this sink into your fat heads. Go fish if you think you found a GPL violation. Losethos is business friendly -- public domain.

Care to share one of these thousands of ideas?
I'm looking for game ideas. I need ideas. http://www.losethos.com/ All I came-up with was a flight-simulator-like eagle fishing game idea. The problem with really new ideas is you don't know if they can work.

Re:The Issue
In 1900, a guy in a patent office figured everything had been invented. I hate that attitude. My operating system, LoseThos, http://www.losethos.com/ has tons of new ideas. Things have changed since 1970's mainframe operating systems!

Can you malloc(0x200000000) ?
I have my doubts 64-bit Windows or Linux allows one task more than 4.0Gig. I haven't tried it but I doubt they allow a malloc() of more than 3.5Gig. I can malloc() 8Gig on my 12 Gig machine under LoseThos
