Pick on someone your own size
block Apple's customers from getting tech support
There's the kicker right there. Fine if you want to picket outside, but it's a courtesy that Apple provides personal tech support -- not the most glamorous of jobs -- from fairly knowledgeable people who choose to use their knowledge to help people. Abusing those people (ignoring the abuse of the free service for the moment), is akin to tormenting a seeing-eye dog for fun. If the FSF supports harrassing people, it shouldn't be the poor frontline customer-facing people who don't have a whole lot of pull in the first place -- get attention the right way -- you'll want to read to the last part of the last section to see what I mean.
Disclaimer: I worked in tech support with a bunch of very knowledgeable people for about 4 years. People with that combination of smarts and willingness to help is pretty rare -- consider the (albeit at least partly justifiable) range of complaints about 'family tech support' on this forum.

One true Wal-Mart storyI know of one instance where an author who had self-published a book containing a story, appropriately called 'The Wal-Mart Story', described how he rigged their tv section to broadcast the porn channel, and only the porn channel, and locked out anyone who tried to change the channel as well as inserting some similarly-themed vcr tapes and dvds. The story may be found here or, if not working, a copy may be found here.
So why bring this up? If you go to his site, Mentally Incontinent, you will see this story in which he says Wal-Mart offered him $500,000 for the site and all the books yet distributed because of this story. However, as you will note, the site is still up and he has since admitted it was all an April Fools joke.
Enjoy the story despite the fact that we can't blame the evil Wal-Mart for trying to squelch dissenting voices.
Oh yeah, to get back on topic, I have to agree with what others have already said: the Wiki entry doesn't seem biased. Boring like a financial report, yes, but not biased. Especially since it contains links to sites critical of how Wal-Mart operates.

Re:The brick shithouse of notebook computingHaven't RTFA'd, but my initial read was that IBM was getting out of desktop, not notebook sales.
I agree: if they stop making laptops, I'm gonna buy one last model before they do, then hold a wake in 3 yrs when the contract runs out. I've got an A31 that has put up with more s**t, and the few minor troubles I've had were all taken care off with the utmost profesionalism by IBM's support staff. For a workday device, nothing comes close. (Unlike Joe The Peacock and his Dell problems.)

Re:ISA doesn't half-hotswap
Do you work for Dell hardware support by any chance?! I think I've seen your work. And so has Joe the Peacock (a damn funny Dell support story). ...after installing a new CD-ROM, that involved removing the IDE controller board, I fired the thing back up, to be met with a few beeps and 'IO Controller Failure Error', and a waft of Magic Smoke. Turned it off and looked around inside. I found that I hadn't pushed the IDE board all the way back in, so some pins where where they should be, some were crossing a couple of mobo pins, and the remainder were in free space... ...Slide a screwdriver under and twist. *pop*, one end of the battery comes off the mobo. Turns out that the contact is part of the battery, and it is soldered on the board. Luckily, the join broke cleanly and didn't take a chunk out of the mobo ...(Standard disclaimers: no business interest in Dell or any competitor. Just a spectator as friends and coworkers learn to regret buying a Dell.)
