    Thank you for being mature and asking this question. The real Steve Woston is not a game programmer, but he is a programmer. He doesn't work for J-J-J-J-JJulius games, either. He works for a small firm writing computer manuals in South Africa. At first he was surprised that posts started appearing on Slashdot bearing his name, and slightly amused, but as the troll started making more and more incredibly stupid posts, it began to get not-so-funny.

    The Real Steve Woston's website is here, and states what he thinks about this situation. Moderators, please be mature and don't moderate this down, because this is a real person, and I'm pretty sure if you were being impersonated on Slashdot, someone signing weird posts with your name, you wouldn't want it to happen and you would want it spoken out against. Thanks, and please moderate wisely.

    Any justification for this? The real Steve Woston is certainly not a troll. And no, I'm not the Steve Woston troll. I say the Steve Woston troll, because the real Steve Woston is not a troll.     Assured by whom? I never once said that my first name is Vinod, or that I'm related to this person. I'm not. My name is actually mark, second name Cedric, but a lot of people just call me Cedric for short :-) The spellings of our surname are even different. I don't see how I'm pretending at all, please clarify.

    Why would/should they? On the other hand, isn't it? No, it's not. It's a bloated mess that's sort of like VMS, but with mandatory graphics (graphics on a server??? WHY ???) If they had have extended MS-DOS to be multiuser and multithreaded, and then extended the Win 3.x system to match it, instead of making the whole system dependent on graphics and the incredibly cryptic, bloated, and poorly documented Win32 API, maybe people wouldn't hate them so much. I don't hate them, of course, I'm just suggesting what they could have done.

    I don't hate you either, even though calling me a troll is kind of offensive. There are real trolls on Slashdot, but I'm nto one of them. The Steve Woston troll is a real troll. The real Steve Woston is genuinely upset at being impersonated by this troll. The Real Steve Woston's site is here, you can read about what he thinks of the whole issue yourself. The guy is basically pissed off at being impersonated on Slashdot, and even though I agree fully with free speech and anonymity, it's a pity that things like this can potentially happen as a trade-off. Steve W0ston, Wost0n, or whatever you call yourself, please stop blackening the name of Steve Woston and generally making Slashdot unpleasant for the good readers of Slashdot.

    As for my post being "non parsable", I'm sorry that you don't udnerstand what I'm saying. Sure, some of my terminology might not be 100%, but the moderaters who originally moderated me understood that while my terminology might not be 100%, I was making a valid point, and they read between the inconsistencies to the truth beneath. Good job, moderators, thank you for not being small minded and understanding what I was trying to say. As for you, korpiq, read the post more carefully before blasting me as Vallopillal pretending (???) troll.

    One great example is Goldbach's Conjecture: All even numbers greater than 2 are the sum of two prime numbers.

    I'm no math wiz. But The Real Steve Woston is. I'll take a shot at the prime numbers/even number sum problem, though.

    Now, we've got 4, right? that's the next even number after 2. So, 3=prime, 1=prime, and 3+1 = 4. So, it looks like the theory is actually true.
