Thank goodness I can just ignore all the hoopla about Vista. "XP" should be dropped from this story's title - _Windows_ is altogether in its death throes.

Not that I changed my opinion on the matter. 3 more Kubuntu XP replacements this month. Zero Windows installs this year (and last year as well.) Like a huge weight off my shoulders.

But here is the brief, Yahoo has no choice, MS has no shot at being Number 2 without buying it, and Google stands to gain by watching it happen and grabbing disaffected Yahoo users who promise to leave in droves if the deal goes through.

I like the dudes comment about KDE not neing a Linux desktop but just an open source desktop environment.

He isn't kidding the Windows Port is coming along nicely. Can KDE Save a Dying Windows Platform?
