Tor Browser
For those times that I want or need to use Microsoft mail services, I prefer to use Tor Browser to connect to http://outlook.com/ Be aware that Microsoft will prompt for extra security info when they detect your session originates at a Tor exit node. I wish they would refrain.

The actual limit is 500 emails per day per recipient
That's not what their documentation says. It says
The maximum number of recipients that can receive e-mail messages sent from a single cloud-based mailbox in a 24 hour period.
and then lists various limits, including the 500 recipients per day for the small business product. Read it for yourself.

Chrome isn't supported under OS X or Linux and Safari isn't supported under Windows.

Hello there! I work on the Outlook Web App team. The version of OWA shipped in Exchange 2010 SP1 is supported in (and works equally well in)...
- IE 7+ (note that IE6 is not supported)
- Firefox 3+
- Safari 3.1+
- Chrome 3+This is the version of OWA included in Office 365.
