Re:Make the same ruling for Papa John's Pizza
There are six PJ stores in that city that I can see.
Every single one is franchised.
Only mention of anything recent in a google search for Papa Johns Federal Bankruptcy turns over...

Which is only in New York. Not California, and not Federal.
You are most certainly a sadly informed shitstain of a stalker. Don't you have anything better to do than lie? If you're so hung up on Khyber, grow a pair of balls and go face him in person. You seem to know everything else about him.
Nope, just another Anonymous Coward that won't do jack shit.

Re:Phone as a pager
Because of the way radio works all towers and phones and radio receivers in range are already aware of all this and more. That's why RMS was pointing out the necessity of waiting until one gets to a safe location before advertising one's position.
Tin-foil-hat? I don't think so; not after the app that tracked women's locations and gave a map. There have been others as well. -

So it's going back to court. I personally believe and hope that he will be found guilty with the correct jury instruction as well.
He'd already served his time, so little point in trying him again for the threats. However, he will be back in court. Hopefully back in jail too.

Then there's his domestic violence arrest...
...last month. He is indeed a charmer.

Re:I for one have new hope...
If serving meat had as great of an effect on public health as providing universal birth control, then absolutely.
This is the key point. There is an enormous amount of evidence that birth control improves public health. From a scientific point of view, it is a no-brainer.
About half of all pregnancies in the United States are unintended. Regular use of contraception prevents unintended pregnancy and reduces the need for abortion. Contraception also allows women to determine the timing and spacing of pregnancies, protecting their health and improving the well-being of their children. Contraceptive use saves money by avoiding the costs of unintended pregnancy and by making pregnancies healthier, saving millions in health care expenses. Several contraceptives also have non-contraceptive health benefits, such as decreasing the risk of certain cancers and treating debilitating menstrual problems. Making contraception more affordable is a significant step forward for the health of women and their families.
This quote comes from http://www.rhrealitycheck.org/article/2011/11/03/testimony-of-douglas-laube-md, which also includes citations for the above points. I would also include reduction of teenage pregnancy as an additional plus.

Re:Apparently Constitution doesn't apply in Utah
This is the same Utah that is about to pass a law stating that a woman who has a miscarriage "recklessly" is liable to a murder charge. The legislature probably relishes the idea of mandatory pregnancy testing in order to properly enforce the law...

Re:National conscience clause
There is a national version of a "conscience clause" in the works and it allows anybody involved with medical care, from ambulance drivers to doctors, to deny service based on their own personal beliefs. The 2008 bill expands this provision to include "care" as an activity that an organization may refuse to provide based on a moral or religious objection. This will allow organizations who receive U.S. funds to deny services to those whose behavior, identity, religion, or other attributes may be deemed objectionable. Scary stuff
