Re:And here are the predictions for 2012
Why try to beat them, when you can join them.
Before long you'll have them blather like complete idiots, a level beyond their normal cluelessness. -
Re:It is an ad...
It is an advertisement
(FTW)
Dood you don't have to listen to that, theres AdBlock and NoScript you know
/sAlso, regarding you constant selfpromotion and stuff, you're doing it right, I'd like to hear how good but I bet the ROI from you post is over 9000% - I may not be your target because I don't have use for Doctors in my normal life and maybe thats why I find them funny. But it's dangerous to go alone, use this.
I'm not feeding a troll, in all PHB style let me spin that as "I'm empowering the trolls"

I've been involved in developing this.
It's had some serious setbacks so far. Computers - with their inherent tendency to accurate process information - seem to have difficulty processing the normal levels of cronyism, petty gossip, office politics, nepotism. and "yes-man" traits required to to advance within normal corporate power structures. It's also been a major challenge to properly implement the Peter Principle. We're using a sort of inverted genetic algorithm in which the worst possible candidate is chosen to fill a vacant position. It's promising, but it seems to result in competent upper management too often to be accurate in the real world.
Fortunately, the Bullshit Buzzword component is complete; we outsourced that to this gentleman. He's got an excellent grasp of modern business communications, and beta testers were unable to distinguish his algorithm-generated press releases from actual real-world examples.

Re:Why?
hahaha, what a bunch of BS! Apparently, you've never been a contractor/consultant long term in IT. Trust me, as a contractor or consultant you're shown the door quite often and the supposed big money you've made all dries up in bills and expenses while you seek another spot as you're between gigs. I've been there for many years after the
.com explosion in 2002 and trust me it was no picknick. You'll be no better off than a migrant farmer in that field right now. When the economy is humming along then you can play that musical chairs game but now isn't the right time.
All you need to do is be (or get) really good at supporting the systems that had been maintained by people who were laid off, and you'll have more work than you can handle.
If you're trotting out a dog-and-pony-show and trying to sell businesses new ways to "cultivate holistic technologies" or "reintermediate broad-based paradigms" you're completely SOL.
However if you don't mind enhancing 15 year old ERP system to handle a new business process, and you're good at making all the stuff they bought during the "boom" (that never actually worked) do what they need, you'll have to hire more help just to answer the phones.
Amazingly enough, "Providing services that are actually needed, to companies that can actually pay for them" still works really well as a business plan. In fact, I haven't changed my business model in the last 20 year and see no reason to do so now. However if you're happier doing something else, don't let me discourage you. -
Re:Go to the source
Please, oh please! In the memory of my dear departed Aunt Myrtle please don't abuse their contact page! If you want to provide them with insightful (heh, I said insightful again) commentary, it is only reasonable to provide them with a real email address so they can reply! Using a random fake email address when you contact them would just be wrong. These freedom loving people are fighting for your rights!

Re:Uh Oh! Tax dollar Sinkhole?Oooh, yeah, I work in corporate America too, let's exchange words that boost our paychecks:
- Synergy
- Paradigm
- Net-Centric
- Community Adopted
- e-Commerce

Re:Unlimited Bandwidth
Marginally more original. I'd at least facilitate cutting-edge paradigms to visualize tracking users and facilitate clicks-and-mortar deliverables deployment to leading-edge consumers

Re:start thinking about usability and design
More to the point, our potential to leverage dynamic interfaces and drive seamless infrastructures leaves us needing disintermediate clicks-and-mortar methodologies to synergize back-end metrics. We are then able to synthesize e-business infomediaries while maintaining a aggregate efficient convergence.
