Why should we listen to loosers like Schwartz?Sun's stock has been in the crapper for years. I don't see that they've created any jobs for Americans for some time now(sure a few have gotten hired-more have gotten discarded).
I used to work at Sun(search for rburns-that's me). Sun management _could_ have listened to the folks at Sun that were telling them Open Source would be the wave of the future. They chose not to-and instead in violation of their own principles went whining to politicians to get various kinds of corporate welfare-that was supposed to help their company and create jobs for Americans-and didn't.
So why should we listen to these guys at all? -
some cameras
For the curious, here there is an article (in spanish, sorry) with some links to cams and what terms to search to find more, happy watching

Forgers
They're forgers.
It was previously done at the MadHack'02
http://www.sindominio.net/madhack02
and now they've copied the idea.
Here in Spain, it seems they're doing something new and cool.
Wrong!!
Besides, they didn't ask about problems, because we had the same problem with the HD (MadHack's worked for just 2 hours, not 2 days). We tried to seal it with silicone but didn't work.

Not the first time!
This is not the first time it's done. Let me tell you the whole history...
Since three years ago, Iberian hackers hold an annual meeting, called HackMeeting.
The first one (code named hmbcn00) took place in Barcelona (Catalonia), in a squat called Les Naus, in October 2000.
The second one (code named hmleioa01) took place in Leioa (Basque Country) also in a squatted house, the Udondo Gaztetxe, in September 2001.
Finally, last October, it was hold in Madrid the 3rd HackMeeting (code named madhack02).
As the previous meetings, it took place in a squat (El Laboratorio). This time gathered about 600 hackers.
It's not determined yet where the next HackMeeting will take place. Maybe somewhere in the countryside in Aragón.
Well, let's come back to the oil-powered PC.
In every hackmeeting there is a computer room, separated from the talks room. In the 3rd HackMeeting, the local HackLab (called Wau Holland 2001) had assembled a PC, put it in oil and placed in the computer room for public use.
I've placed a selection of pictures of the computer in oil (shot by Maky and Fernando Vicente) in my personal home page. Hope you like them.

Galeon supports MNG
The majority of web browsers in the wild still don't support PNG correctly (and virtually nothing supports MNG).
Galeon does support MNG, in fact I have one in my personal home page.
I guess other gecko-based browsers (Mozilla, Netscape, etc) support MNGs as well.
I don't know whether they support every feature, but animation does work.
If you want browsers to better support PNGs and MNGs, use it in your webpages!

Re:Is this a joke, please. No, unfortunately not. Do a google search for the Net/2 release of BSD, 4.4Lite and lawsuits. This was the BSD release (not FreeBSD, this was the original BSD codebase) after AT & T's (later Novell's) USL settled with Berkely. I can't find a great pointer, but I found this on a FreeBSD history:
Worse, the UNIX folks at AT&T picked 1992 to file a lawsuit against UC Berkeley. They claimed that the Berkeley folks stole UNIX trade secrets when they released their BSD code. True, there was no AT&T code in the Net/2 release. But the Net/2 code was inspired by the AT&T code, so the argument ran.
Also check out this lawsuit summary.
