What's needed is something like that Terms of Service did not read, with easy bullet points telling you just how evil this app is, sure ToS and privacy policies aren't exactly the same thing. This was discussed on slashdot last week.

I almost didn't click the link, but tos-dr.info contains some ridiculously convenient roll ups of all those Terms of Service I never read.

It's nice to see at a quick glance which services are being shady a-holes in which ways.

This site provides summaries of the terms-of-service policies for various companies covering privacy, retention, and use of user information. You can use it to compare your plans with those of major companies and identify privacy or TOS concerns you may have overlooked.
