Re:And to think the DNC wanted to face Trump...
This kind of patronizing attitude is the most pervasive form of sexism. Women don't need "their turn" they're perfectly capable of competing for top jobs.
You know what I like best about the Barack Obama / Hillary Clinton era? All of the healing on relations between the sexes.
Michelle Obama: Hillary Clinton Has “Waited Her Turn” To Be President (Video at link)
Former Obama campaign manager and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Jim Messina said Priorities USA, the Super PAC he is co-chairman of, will support Hillary Clinton for president of the United States. Messina is also chairman of the 501(c)(4) Organizing for Action (formerly Obama for America). . . .
"You're pouring your money towards Hillary, correct?" Farrow asked Messina.
"Yep," Messina said. "We want Hillary Clinton to be the next president of the United States."
"It's her turn and her time," Messina also said. I think she would be the right leader for this country moving forward. And we're going to do whatever it takes to make sure she's the president of the United States."
You've been so helpful in identifying sexism. Why are there so many prominent sexists in the Democratic party? (hat tip )

Re:Stick a fork in....Why would I do that, when Bush was compared to him damn near daily? Then, more broadly, Republicans-are-Hitler has been around for fifty years.
See, I can copy links too. Please try to remember recent history before being outraged.

Re:Wow, a page from the Valery Fabrikant
The UCLA shooter, Mainak Sarkar, apparently had a list he was working his way down. His ex girlfriend has been found dead, and was on his list. He's a Muslim from India, BTW, though Islam seems to be a coincidence for once.
Of course, it's still early, and more details always come to light in the week following a shooting, but this really looks like a guy settling all his grudges on his way out.

Re:Thanks for nothing.
Exactly. Bush wrote his Executive Orders in such a way that subsequent Presidents cannot undo them. This is 100% his fault and until Congress acts with a 2/3 majority, the NSA cannot stop it. Blaming Obama, who did not create this can cannot stop it, is unproductive. He has said many times that he does not support this. Why include him in your scorn when he agrees with the public that it should be stopped? That is unless you're a Republican, and you're trying to irrationally blame him.
What the hell are you talking about? President Obama nullified Executive Order 13,233 He also reversed GWB's policy on stem cell research And he reversed E.O. 13201 Which was also an EO signed by GWB. I could go on, but it would be pointless, I'm sure
It's very easy to include the president in anyone's scorn on this subject. One of the topics he campaigned under was the premise that EO abuse must be stopped. And yet if things aren't going the way he wants, or as quickly as he would like them to, all of the sudden use of the executive power is somehow warranted.
Like most/all politicians (both democrats and republicans) he agrees with the public when it's convenient. People in this country really need to get over this "us vs. them" mentality. It doesn't matter if you are a democrat or a republican. Black, white, yellow, red or purple. Gay, hetero, both, or neither. We are all americans. It's really sad to see us all at each others throats. We have been comfortable, and extremely safe (barring a few blips) for so long that we have started turning on each other. And our "leaders" have not helped the situation for quite some time now.

Punitive, intentionally vindictive - Democrats
The Democrats are just getting started. This is from the top down, like the IRS voter suppression to make sure President Obama won re-election.

Re:I'm amazed...
I'm amazed the Media didn't manage to convict him, despite how hard they tried.
No kidding! - Most media outlets deliberately used this old 'cute' picture of Trayvon:

which is both several years old and not how he looked when the incident happened. These are newer pics - note the attitude, the gangsta gold teeth and the tats:

http://topconservativenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/trayvon_steroetype.jpg
http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/assets/trayvon-martin.jpgIf Trayvon behaved as the character he appear to be in these pics when Zimmerman challenged him, it's pretty obvious that he would have felt threatened and thus fired the shots justified. But as we don't know what really happened, it's more or less impossible to say if Zimmerman should be acquitted or not.

Re:thought police
As long as we don't end up like Sweden, where boys play with dolls and girls with guns (the result of an anti-gender stereotype law)... Here's a comparison on the exact same toy ads in its Danish and Swedish version: http://weaselzippers.us/wp-content/uploads/aaa7_158-550x364.jpg (Swedish on the left).

Re:Connecticut tragedy
Here's mom. A schoolteacher.
Really? I mean come on. Stop fishing for news at the tit of the MSM, she wasn't even a teacher, and no one at the schoolboard knows who she was.
My gut tells me it is more than slightly possible that mom was buying those weapons for her son,
That's possible, but I know no shortage of women from when I was down in the US that were avid shooters. Either in competition, sport, or even recreational. They were devout enough that they handload their own rounds to save money, which should say something.

Re:Looks perfectly in line with the ITU
The key to "spreading Democracy" is establishing the Rule of Law.
Social and Economic "Justice" is not compatible with the Rule of Law. It is only achieved through the Rule of Men.
Example: Obama sees that Sandra Fluke apparently can't afford Birth Control so he unilaterally declares that Birth Control must be covered and in doing so violates the Constitution.
Social and Economic "Justice" demands that the Constitution be Damned and that the end result is more important.
When a sitting president laments he lacks dictator like powers you have to start taking a hard look at where we are as a society

Let it be seen..Ya can't prevent Muslims from going apeshit over having their delicate sensibilities offended...
Here is a video of an Egyptian Muslim leader tearing up and burning a Bible... No signs of Christians throwing a tantrum...
FYI, the Innocence of Muslims movie is also available on LiveLeak and other sites.

Re:Breathless summary by the clueless
According to the CBC it doesn't matter what you are thinking when you use words. If they say they are racist, then you are a racist.

Re:This is out of control
Funny how liberals pick the ethnicity that suits their argument.
Obama is from mixed race parents, but is referred to as black because he looks black.
Zimmerman doesn't look Euro white, but it is convenient to emphasize his white parent when picking sides in this story.
How does Obama typically refer to himself? How about Zimmerman?
Zimmerman self identified as Hispanic on his voter registration card.

Re:Despite being under house arrest
they takin our jaaabs
Queue jumping rapists more like it
What other culture besides these muslims condone rape and force rape victims to marry their rapist?
http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Quran/002-rape_adultery.htm
http://www.stonegateinstitute.org/1856/bangladesh-sharia-brutality-raped-girl
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2003/jan/04/france.jonhenley1
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7708169.stm
and, of course, this is where it is all going to end up:
http://weaselzippers.us/2012/01/05/australia-islamic-leader-wants-to-implement-sharia-law-in-heavily-muslim-suburb/Do you want to have these people in your country?
No, seriously. Australia takes all sorts of refugees from all over the world. Having thousands of muslims forcing their way in is not good.
Someone knocks at your door. Your daughter opens it. A muslim man bashes his way in and rapes your daughter. Your daughter is now forced to marry this rapist or face death by stoning. How do you feel about this?
Just don't say anything to your local cleric or you will stand in the pit with your daughter as they stone her to death. If you think this is complete horse shit then you either need to read more about the topic, or go live in a muslim country for a while
Australia has taken in the English, the Italians, the Greeks, and a whole host of other countries. So far as I can see they are friendly and welcoming to just about anyone. But. Can you blame them for not wanting a bunch of self admitted rapists?

Re:Isn't that anti-science?
Links, please, to back up where you believe the science is faulty, and to back up your premise that if you disagree with the general consensus of climatologists that it's hard to get funding. I just don't buy that; especially not with the general Republican stance. They love their climate denial scientists lots. Though, they seem to have a lot of trouble finding any to fund. And thus, they try to cut funding for ALL climate change research.
I do know, however, that GWBush tried to silence NASA scientists from talking about Global Warming, and that House Republicans are still at it (we all know how biased NASA is, right?
/snark)So, please. If you're going to make assertions, back them up. Otherwise, it's just faith based denial.
