Umm, you have that all backwards still... more
Actually, by definition, their actions are conservative. âoe(of a person or a set of views) opposing political or social liberalization or reform.â
Fine, if you want to claim all Democrats are conservative, since they all oppose Trump reforms for example.
However since we live in the real world perhaps lay off the grammar nazi bit a little, Mkay? It just makes you look petty.
Rural areas (which it was) are dominated by Republican voters
If you bothered reading your own link you'd find it happened in Massachusetts. Huh, I wonder who carried Massachusetts...
Don't seem much for facts do you? Guess you are also a Conservative Democrat, since you hate having your mind changed from its unfactual representation to a more likely one...
Could one of them be a closet Democrat? Sure... but it's rather improbable.
Or in fact as I have shown with actual facts, rather likely and it's you who are conjuring up your political enemies as the hatemongers. But given your petty attitude at my offering corrections to help you, we find you are just another hate-filled bigoted liberal who assumes bad == Republican. Sad.
Because Tesla is green and liberals like green so therefore they hate Tesla.
As I said, just bigoted... some of the largest environmental support groups are composed of largely Republican hunters, and I myself am a fervent environmentalist (vastly more than any other poster on Slashdot I've ever seen).
I'll let you have the last post, since you are too conservative to understand or be convinced of what is really happening.... beyond my help at this time. Maybe eventually you will heal.

Re:this is one more reason
Nobody is stopping people in the US from doing business with mega. Send an international money order. People do it all the time. And if you trust them so much, you can always send cash.
It's not so much trust in the business on the other end that keeps me from sending cash through the mail, it's all the people in the middle that are handling the cash-filled mail. The business has a huge incentive to not rip off their customers since a customer that doesn't get what he paid for will soon be an ex-customer.

Re:Did you really need to ask that question?
So then provide an example of marijuana lobbyist(s) trying to make smoking marijuana in public places legal while at the same time working to prohibit tobacco smoking in public. I
Oh, you need look no further than our delightful leftist stronghold of Cambridge, Massachusetts—where smoking that evil tobacco has been banned, but toke up if it's marijuana, dude!!
Or maybe we should look at the weed capital of the world. What say you Amsterdam?
Oh right it's not otherwise you would have actually post some evidence to back up your claim. That's apparently not something you tend to do.
I think I just did.

You'll never catch me, copper?
A couple of year back, this guy drove into the fire department parking lot, brazenly loaded up a reel of copper (wire, I think -- possibly for maintaining the town's antique "Red Fire Box" alarm system?) and drove off with it (not before being noticed either): Lexington man is 'person of interest' in area copper thefts.

Re:This is a year old...Yup
Voters did approve one of four petitioned zoning articles, one that would require cottage colonies to be in operation for at least three years before they can be turned into condominium ownership. Zoning articles require a two-thirds majority and the first vote was close, counted as 139 in favor and 64 opposed. A recount was held that was tallied at 136-70 and declared to be passed by Town Clerk Cynthia Slade, utilizing a multiplier of 0.66 to determine two-thirds, the figure the town has always used. Unfortunately, this vote was so close that the inaccurate fraction made the difference, and several months later the attorney general’s office negated the approval as not meeting the two-thirds threshold.

Evacuation Cam
If you dig around long enough, they argue that the real purpose of the cameras is to "help in the case of a city evacuation". The images from the cams suck though. I'd expect better if they wanted to secretly spy on us. Perhaps the only things these will catch is the next group who tries to install LightBrite guerrilla advertising in the Porter Square.
Honestly, I'm not too worried if the Department of Homeland Security catches me biking to work in Cambridge. What I don't like is the traffic cameras that send you tickets when you run red lights. Those suck.
