No where does in the actual suit does it say you'll be getting a new copy of the same dvd back. Just that you get to pick them from a list. You're probably picking from MGM's list of 325 movies they couldn't sell. This reminds me of the CD price-fixing settlement where they sent libraries dud CDs.

It just did in the block of FCC's changes. I can't find it right now, but there's an image of Trent Lott and Tom Daschle from a couple of days ago speaking on the senate floor, with a huge stack of paper. It turns out that's a printout of the web petition signed by thousands of angry people.

Aparently Gateway Country's customer service leaves much to be desired. This actually happened in my home town.

To summarize: A guy who was dissatisfied with Gateway's service decided to place the computer in the entrance to their store and smash it with a sledge hammer. So they threw him in jail. This guy just can't win.

When they mention "central processing unit", they are actually referring to the case. Clueless reporter.
