Freenet 0.3.4 Released
Rubidium writes: "Freenet 0.3.4 has just been released. It now includes a fully functional HTTP proxy written in Java named FProxy. It supports both requests and inserts, streams data as it is received from Freenet nodes, does not require a Web server, allows HTML to be used for linking files in Freenet, and generally makes Freenet much easier to use than it was in the past. The node finding page, inform.php, has been relocated and fixed, which makes Freenet actually functional (instead of being functional in name only)."
As soon as freenet gets a good UI, it can be a successor to Napster--better than gnutella, as it has a badass way to cache popular files close to where they're popular.
And, as an added bonus, it's all encrypted, anonymous, decentralized, and has the ability to offer freedom of speech for files other than just pr0n and mp3s.

Has somebody established one of those Freenet-to-HTTP proxies? Where?
