Special Contacts Treat Damaged Corneas

The lenses work for anyone with blindness due to damaged corneas, and could help hundreds of thousands worldwide. What's really amazing is that the inventor, Dr. Perry Rosenthal, rather than doing the money grubbing patented to high heavens cant look at them without paying XXX dollars is actually funding 60% of the cost out of his own pocket to help people who can't afford the lenses. It seems contact lenses are the answer to many questions. From the hubble telescope, to near sightedness, and now corneas that got their asses kicked.
A few suggestions for problems that should be solved with contact lenses:
+ ugly wives: made them pretty with just a little silicon or other plastic
+ terrorism: make ones that make everything seem smaller and give them to terrorists... maybe they'll mistake life sized planes for toys and be unable to spot tall buildings to bomb
+ recreation: put a kalideoscope in them for people tripping off LSD and friends! Also will allow others to see what it's like to hallucinate.
These are but a few of many ideas....
According to the article, the lenses do not actually touch the cornea... ;-)
