South Pacific Mac Developers' Conference 2002

Andrew Lindesay writes "There will be a South Pacific Mac Developers' Conference held in Auckland, New Zealand on the 24th and 25th of August. This is an exciting opportunity for those interested in Mac OS X development in New Zealand to meet and make contacts. The conference this year will be hosting a number of talks from Apple USA as well as local speakers, covering a number of topics relating to Mac OS X development. We are now taking registrations for the event."

      I really hope that you know where New Zealand is. Hint: It is not a state of Aussie.

      All the mac users of NZ could attend though and you'd still have empty seats.

      Heh, I'd like to see the crocodile hunter find a dangerous animal here to wrestle with. "Look what we have here the dangerous kiwi with that fierce beak, worms don't stand a chance. Be careful!!! Whoaaa!"

    Do they have electricity in Auckland yet ? I was looking eastward a couple of years back and the lights went out all of a sudden. They haven't come back on yet ...so either the power is still off or the last person out really did turn off the lights.

    Yes, electricity supply to Auckland central was restored - if you haven't noticed it since, I'd suggest checking what you're drinking (does XXXX always stand for Beer?).
