CodeCon Program Announced

Len Sassaman writes "CodeCon 2.0 is the premier event in 2003 for the P2P, Cypherpunk, and network/security application developer community. It is a workshop for developers of real-world applications with working code and active development projects. CodeCon registration is $95; a $15 discount is available for attendees who register online prior to February 15th. CodeCon 2.0 will be held February 22-24, noon-6pm, at Club NV (525 Howard Street) in San Francisco." Here's the site for more codecon info. Read on below for a list of scheduled presentations.     Hey all you Trekkies! Berman and Braga have finally killed your beloved franchise! Star Trek Nemesis hasn't even made $42 million! It's not even going to break even! Ha ha ha! Maybe now some of you will "Get a life" and found something worthwhile to do!

    on the conference registration page ( LINK ) it looks like the conference is running a fundraising dinner for a nonprofit group that offers colocation and hosting for non-profits LINK called the California Community Colocation Project. From their site: We provide free colocated Internet access to individuals and non-profits. ... and it looks like they operate solely on donations to keep them going!

    Wow. Talk about a good cause.
