    ... I lately ge tthe feeling companies here are far behind the open-source 'thought' than US companies. Maybe it's that they're afraid or such, I don't know, but I rarely come across companies implementing OSS here. And besides, this forums for universities is a good thing, Microsoft is starting to give out free software licenses to students over here... :)

    CALIBRE is led by the University of Limerick, Ireland and brings together an interdisciplinary consortium of 12 academic and industrial research teams from France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, the UK and China.

    China is now in Europe???
    It drastically change my worldmap :-)

    Now, seriously... China is quickly advancing in the IT area.
    And I like that it is in the Open Source direction.
