Realm of Albion Removed From Dark Age of Camelot

Voodoo Extreme has news from the Camelot Herald, with notes about a new patch to the Massive game Dark Age of Camelot. In the patch notes, they state: "Due to overwhelming population imbalances, we have removed the realm of Albion from the game on two out of every three clustered servers and have credited players with an equivilant toon in Midgard or Hibernia". This decision finally puts an end to the realm of Albion, which had consistent population problems across many of the DAoC servers. Update: 04/02 18:02 GMT by Z : April 1st hoax story.

      Whoever metamods this, please keep in mind that today is April Fools day and the topic of the thread was this guy managing to actually get the first post. Whoever moded this as Offtopic is not a pleasant person.

    How many aborted jokes are they going to foist on us this year?

    Don't the asshat editors here realize that when they are so blatant, they are defeating the tradition of April Fool's Day in the first place? 90% of the readership dreads this day and wishes it were over so that we might have something interesting to read at work. Who enjoys reading a big page of unfunny lies?

    Too bad it isn't true. I really did hate those Albs. Always getting in they way with their zergs while we fight the Mids. Now maybe we can fight the Mids in peace... or war... or something.
