Sony's Last Clie: VZ90

An anonymous reader writes "MobileTechReview has published a hands-on review of the Sony Clie VZ90 which is the last of its line and only sold officially in Japan. The price is pretty high, but the screen is absolutely lovely. If the portable media players adapted the OLED display like the one on the Clie, they'd probably sell better."

    Looks like a very nice unit, but isn't that a little overkill for a PDA? I know I would love to have it to show off, but it really doesn't do *that* much more than my $199 Dell Axim.

      That's probably why Sony isn't making them anymore. Dell has signalled the commoditization of the PDA.

      Next up: the Dell Smartphone. They already do TVs, PDAs, music players, and printers now. They're probably still waiting on MS to properly position PocketPC for mobile phones.
