Take-Two's 2005
Next Generation is reflecting on the thoroughly eventful year that Take-Two Entertainment has had. From the article: "Possibly the biggest deal of the year was the pick-up of exclusive third-party publishing rights to MLB, pushing rivals like EA out to lesser licenses. The seven-year deal does not exclude hardware manufacturers from the market. Take-Two ended its association with ESPN following EA's deal with the broadcast label."
Why are we getting an annual report for a gaming company on slashdot?

Looks like another opportunity to bash EA some more. EA started all this license buyout BS. Nuff said. Next...
I just purchased my first 2k Games' game - Civilization 4...It is in the top two worst games I have ever played. No, I don't mean regarding game content, but regarding some of the buggiest, worst programming, most unstable, POS I have ever, err, tried to play. The forums are filled with tons of people with problems, and just as many ranting about how they just ended up returning the damn thing.
2k sucks, so they can take their 2005 year, and hopefully it will be the peak of their existance...and nothing but down hill from here.
