The E3 of 1995

simoniker writes "Having just finished the glut of gaming goodness that is E3, GameSetWatch has dug out the E3 show plans from 1995, the first ever iteration of the massive video game show, revealing, among other things, that 'Sega had the largest booth of the show (larger than any first-party's today)', and that 'John Wayne Bobbitt made an appearance at a Petree booth'. Pretty much business as usual, then!"

Bah! What good is any talk about E3 without showing Booth Babes?

I for one would like to see a comparison between those of yore and those of today.

Who knows what has changed since.

The animal pictured is Mustela putorius furo. It is a small, curious animal that has been domesticated since at least the time of Aristophanes. The ferret, as furo is known colloquially, is a companion animal to millions of Americans and Europeans. It is appreciated for its good humor, constant curiosity, and charismatic personality. The ferret's habitat includes basements, condos, and apartments. Its diet chiefly consists of a high protein ferret kibble, punctuated by whatever raisins and other tasty treats it may beg for from its owner. Due to antiquated law, it is illegal to own a ferret in California, New York City, and Hawaii.

You can tell that 1995 was the dark ages for E3 if they have John Wayne Bobbitt as a booth babe.

Hey! I bought that. It had a good index of recipes, and a few multimedia clips, ie. thumbnail-sized videos, showing goofy Dom cooking. It was rather good fun, though a bit slow to navigate, IIRC.

I noticed this, (and yes, I'm a big dork for doing so...) that in the second picture in the article, that booth 861 is for STD, and that 961 is for Coconuts Japan. So isn't that being a little risky with your Coconuts? Getting them so close to the STDs?

Please feel free to mod this down... I know it's a stupid groaner. :)
