Audio From the Last HOPE Released

Pseudo Idol writes "Audio from the presentations given at the The Last HOPE conference have been released. As you no doubt missed quite a bit if you were in attendance and most certainly missed a whole lot more if you weren't even there, this is the best way to get the full HOPE experience."

When I first read the title, my brain froze and for some reason I had every expectation that this audio would be "Help me Obi-wan Kenobi, you're my only hope"...

Funny you should say that, my very first thought was StarWars sequel... which quickly vanished when I fully registered the thought

While some enjoy The Last Hope for what it is right now, twenty years from now people will be tripping all over themselves preaching that it was much greater then it was in reality. While the technology improves there will always be a rose-coloured view of what The Last Hope offered. We may even get the chance to see some evil Force try to remake Hope into something much sillier. Although I fear the dark sides influence at this possibility, I will holdout hope that it will never be 'remade' after money has changed the vision of the original director.

I really would love to quickly download all of these for my iPhone/iTunes with an RSS feed.

Maybe I'll try to put that together later... anyone interested?

I've started reposting them to my blog and made and RSS feed so you can download them easily with an RSS enabled media player like iTunes. I separated it out from my standard feed so you won't get all of my other junk in there. Here's the subscription link. http://feeds.feedburner.com/WhatIsNoiseTheLastHope

I don't have time to repost all of them (must do each one as a separate post, which takes a while) but I'll finish up tonight. I think there's 10 or so of them on there now.

Awesome, thanks a bunch! I tried using wget and recursive download, but I got a 403 error. I tried using the talks download page as a referrer, but it still gave me the 403. (And yes, I remembered the different spelling of referrer in the HTML standards.) I saw nothing in the source of the page, and I'm pretty sure I've got all the options and URL's right. Any insights?

Are there slideshows or images posted anywhere for these talks? It'd be nice to have some visuals to go with a few of these.
