DOScrash writes "Popular Mechanics has a story on MIT's most autonomous robotic submarine ever, the Odyssey IV. It can dive more than 3.5 miles without a tether and knows how to get itself up if it's in trouble."

... How effective is it at being autonomous drug mule. Seeing as how subs are all the rage in that field. Grant money? Who needs grant money when you have a BIG business backing your R&D. Only problem is the gun pointed at the back of your head and all, but people have endured worse to secure grant money.
