Wow. Drivel like this, along with Slashdot's new script heavy front page, really makes me want to change my start up page to something else. Every time I refresh Slashdot all of the junk makes my browser choke for a good 10 seconds... this is unacceptable.
It's annoying for this shit to even be here. We all know they're pandering to the Digg crowd, and it's only a matter of time before idle takes over the main site, and the worthwhile stuff is relegated to it.slashdot.org.

People really should stop reading the idle pages if they don't like them. You DO have a choice as to which sections you read.
