TSA Security Checkpoint Toy

Roskolnikov writes "I thought I ran across a joke; Playmobil, the maker of childrens' scenario playsets, has made a airport security checkpoint that could easily be at home on any travelers desk; what makes this even more entertaining (in a sick, yet somehow funny way) are the reviews posted for this defective toy; imagine what a little barbed wire and SS uniforms would do for this."

ElReg ran a story on this back in March and ever since then has been doing a series of hilarious mock-up/reconstructions of off-beat news events using playmobil. See their review of the year in playmobil at:

Not very true-to-life. If so, the "screeners" would be obese black women with bad attitudes.

Mod me down as flamebait if you must, but think back for just a moment to the last time you flew. You'll see I'm right.

It isn't an airport security checkpoint without a cavity search.

    Shoe bomber play action figures?

What's scary about that Checkpoint toy is that the man in the chair looks a little bit like he just stepped out of WW II.

Or maybe what's scary is that it exists at all.
