This seems to be a common design flaw in balconies.

    I'm thinking that people who need such a warning probably can't read. Perhaps some gory pictograph would be more appropriate?

      How would you design it so that it properly depicts a falling hazard and not the ability to fly?

    This seems like a sign you would see in hotels in china. I went there many times and im just amazed on how weirdly the signs are translated.
