England To Get eBay-Style Feedback System For Public Services

Gordon Brown has declared that the English will get more online powers to rate GPs, police, childcare and councils. Brown said, "We are ushering in a new world of accountability in which parents, patients and local communities shape the services they receive, ensuring all our public services respond not simply to the hand of government, but to the voice of local people." As we all know, the anonymity of the internet leads people to be honest, and to use feedback services in a responsible manner.

How about some more power in rating the performance of the Government itself!?

The Government want other areas to be more accountable, yet Gordon Brown has not even been elected into office.... what a joke!

      Are you sure about that?

He was elected by his constituents to be MP.
He was elected by his party to be party leader, and his party was elected to form the government.

Sounds like either you're trolling, or you don't understand how your government works.

    Dear Gordon Brown,

As chancellor and PM-elect you (the one-eyed bilderburg cretin) have presided over a financial crisis that many of us saw coming as early as 2004 and yet you have steadfastly refused to be held accountable.

When are you going to resign?

    Love,

As a UK citizen, I demand nothing less than Gordon Brown's severed head on a spike outside the Palace of Westminster, as a warning to others. Then Jack Straw, Harriet Harman and Wacki Jacqui Smith, for a start.

There is a big block of wood and a very sharp axe in the Tower of London. It's about time we brought that out to play.

    Umm...

Right so they like the idea of people being "anonymous" so they are honest. In the same country that wants (or is?) to log all internet traffic - to monitor users activity.

Nice to know the government want us to be honest just like them.
