Dad Robs Store With Daughter

Perhaps inspired by President Obama's wish for his daughters to grow up in a world of equal opportunity, Robert Daniel Webb decided to empower his young girl by taking her on an armed robbery. Surveillance camera's show a suspect, believed to be Webb, pointing a large handgun at the store clerk, with the young girl by his side. Kittitas County Under Sheriff Clayton Myers, oblivious to what a huge step forward bringing your daughter to a robbery is, calls Webb's actions the height of parental irresponsibility. "Committing an armed robbery with your child at your side... You never know how someone is going to react when you pull a gun in a public place like that, so we're viewing this as a child endangerment, extreme risk to the child. Our first priority is locating her and taking her into protective custody."

    WTF? Blow up the image and check out that "gun." To me it looks suspiciously like a Romulan disruptor or something similar from Star Trek.

      Haha, you're right. It does. That's why he brought his daughter, so the other guy wouldn't shoot back and he'd lose his plastic gun versus real gun battle.

      You guys are tweaking. There is a dark protrusion that appears to be coming from just beyond the debit pin pad, but the only deformity on the gun itself appears to be a tactical sighting system attached to the underside of the barrel.

    I feel badly for the dude, he says he's out of work he's obviously inexperienced... he's not out to hurt and kill people he's just stealing. :(

    They blurred the clerk's face to protect the innocent, so why not the daughter's face? Surely she can't be considered a consenting accomplice?!?

      Maybe they're hoping someone will recognize her, and help lead authorities to him? That's the only theory I have.

    The only thing that doesn't make sense is the daughter.... obvious evidence of having gotten laid.
