    Some days I think Idle isn't even trying.

    Was this a corporate mandate or something?

      Yes, yes it was. It was created as something that the higherups said, "THIS IS NEAT! /., I want to see this on the front page and in an easy place." Thus, idle./..com was born. You should never come here. It would not be so high up on the page if all was left to merit.
