The Best Fictional Firearms of All Time
Here's a list of the best fictional firearms of all time. My only complaints are: It's a list of the top 16, which seems to be an odd arbitrary number for an arbitrary list, and the BFG 9000 didn't make the cut.
The BFG9000 is not a firearm.
If you ignore ACs because they are anonymous - you're an idiot.

Why can't we let people believe whatever they like? It's not like a little religion has ever hurt anyone.

there is nothing fictional about the Golden Gun, other than it would be made entirely of gold. You'd need steel parts, but its entirely workable machine.

Actually, 16 is an even arbitrary number.

This post was made in complete sincere seriousity; as such any attempts to derive humour are doomed to instant failure.
Even though it would have meant including two guns from the same movie, they really should have included the Cobra Assault Cannon from Robocop.
State of the art, bang bang.
"In real life, guns are cool if you're a private detective or a sporting marksmen. But most of the time kids are always shooting themselves or trying to hold up liquor stores or something, and that sucks."
Yeah, the majority of guns are totally used for crimes and suicide. You can yell this was written by a very knowledgeable person.
Am I the only one that missed Spider Jerusalem's Bowel Disruptor?
it's 2^4 or 2^(2^2).
.45 Long Colt should have made the list.
Also, I think Vash's Angel Arms
In Soviet Russia jokes are formulaic and decidedly non-humorous.
How can Lt. Ellen Ripley's taped-together flamethrower/machine gun/grenade launcher not make this list?
Oh, yeah, it's not easy to pad these out to 120 characters.
