Why am I not surprised that the socialist BBC is screening a film by a French "artist" which is basically an insult to American ingenuity? The use of the case as a birdbath at the end it just the final insult.

I suppose its a relative view. Once upon a time Gibson was a quality company and are now the Sergio Valente with "designer model" guitars.Overpriced for the name at the top of the headstock relative to guitars of similar quality, the Les Paul signature model was once a mass produced masterpiece. Now it is possible to pick one up in a store and find sloppy binding, poorly leveled frets, flaws in the paint, and worst of all, other artist signatures obscuring the fact that this is a LES PAUL signature model and they should go get another axe if they want their name on the truss rod cover. A bit of bird shit spattering a L.P. studio is redundant anyway.

Ingenuity? A Les Paul? Leo Fender made some innovative stuff, but a Les Paul was nothing special even back then. Except humbuckers maybe, but first LPs had single coil pickups.

I know some musicians, whose opinions I respect a lot more than Random Internet Guy, who'd disagree.
That said, that video was awesome and I don't see how you can view it as some kind of insult to Gibson or LP. I mean, being chosen for an inter-species musical experiment would be an honor for any guitar maker!
Also, I never realized what a nice water feature you could make with a guitar case.

Fascisim is a form of socialism yet people use it all the time to talk about conservatives. The only reason fascism was considered 'right' is it was 'right' of Marxism. It's far, far left of modern conservatism. Get over it.

Wake up. Fascism is pretty much the polar opposite of socialism. Although it's difficult to ascribe it specifically to "the right" or "the left", it is most closely aligned with extreme right wing ideology, and consequently, as modern conservatism pushes further to the right, it rapidly approaches fascism.
Quoth our friend Wikipedia (and its many sources):
Fascism... is a political ideology that seeks to combine radical and authoritarian nationalism with a corporatist economic system. Scholars generally consider it to be on the far right of the traditional left-right political spectrum.
...
Benito Mussolini's Doctrine of Fascism regards fascism as right-wing and collectivist, but it also declares that fascism is sympathetic to ameliorating the conditions that brought about the rise of left-wing political movements, such as class conflict socialism and liberal democracy, while simultaneously opposing the egalitarianism associated with the left.
...
Roger Griffin argues that since the end of World War II, fascist movements have become intertwined with the radical right, describing certain groups as part of a "fascist radical right".
