Do Not Show Your ID When Robbing a Bank

bradley13 writes "When the world's most gullible bank robber went in to rob a bank, the teller told him she needed to see two forms of ID before she could give him the money. Now he's enjoying three hots and a cot. From the article: 'A judge sentenced 49-year-old Nathan Wayne Pugh of Sachse (SAK'-see) to more than eight years on Tuesday. Pugh tried to hold up a Dallas Wells Fargo Bank in July. The teller stalled Pugh by telling him she needed to see two forms of ID. Pugh showed her his Wells Fargo debit card and a state ID card. He was captured as he tried to flee with $800.'"

possibly. Another possibility is that the teller is an automaton that mindlessly repeats the scripted request for identification in any and every situation. Hard to tell which is the case from the article, I've met both in my dealings with banks.

or completely thoughtless. If it is standard procedure to ask for two forms of id and she panicked and went with the script it doesn't demonstrate quick thinking. But still commendable.

That reward should be taken out of the robber's own bank account. That's the punishment for being so goddamn stupid!

Definitely still commendable. Dropping to script is a much better option than wigging out and completely panicking, perhaps making the situation worse.

That's rather lenient isn't it? Personally, I find this offensive just being the same species, we should kill it and any offspring it may have plagues us with.

With that kind of thinking, she was lucky to not get shot in the face. Why the fuck you are "5, Insightful"?

It was not her money(and even if it was she should just hand it to him), she had no duty to protect the wealth of her greedy boss that pay her only minimum wage. It is not worth to risk attempt anything.
