White House Negotiates With Dancing With the Stars Before Libya Speech

Before his speech Monday night, President Obama had to contend with a more daunting obstacle than enforcing the Libyan no-fly zone, and that was Dancing with the Stars. It turns out the White House had to negotiate a time with ABC that did not interfere with the broadcast of the second highest-rated show on television. From the article: "A White House spokesman, Joshua Earnest, sent a statement by e-mail: 'The White House routinely works with the networks, as a group, in circumstances like these to find a time that’s respectful of both the networks and their audience – while ensuring that the president has the platform he needs to deliver an important message to the American people.'”

Obama's justification for going into Libya is the approval of the Arab League and not the approval of Congress?

He should have gone before congress and lied about Libya's possible WMDs. Oh, wait, that psychotic fashion statement has had a nuclear arsenal for decades. At least you knew where Saddam was coming from...this nut routes traffic through areas where public hangings are being performed...just so you don't forget who is in charge. The UNs resolution to enforce a no-fly zone was the best thing to happen to Libya, and I will gladly write my congressmen to tell him to further back any additional actions.

What I find appalling is that the White House even gives a shit about Dancing with the Fags... And yes, I am implying that if you watch this show you are gay.

After Iraq and Afghanistan, how can you even ask? I think it is safe to take Congress for granted in this, for two reasons:

      1) Gadaffi is a "communist" (never mind that Communism has nothing to do with what he stands for, coz' he's a commie)

      2) War means big profit for the weapons manufaturers, who sponsor much of Congress.

No, the Arab League are much more important, because Libya is an Arab country, and you don't want yet another scenario where the US is seen as the world's bully-boy going after Muslims.
