AffirmIt!, the Supportive Testing Framework
egalluzzo writes "Announced today, the AffirmIt! unit testing framework for Ruby

And gosh darn, people like it!
A feeling of having made the same mistake before: Deja Foobar
As a card carrying Republican I can't support this Affirmit! This is nothing but reverse discrimination!
You see, all of us have the ability to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps!!
Let em explain:
I am a member of the Marietta Country club in Marietta Georgia. My great grandpappy worked REAL hard getting the US government to kill off the Cherokee Indians that were on HIS property. Now, my grandpappy, worked real hard, so he deserves everything he got and left to us. My daddy, seeing land prices increasing and through his hard work bringing Atlanta up, got into the real estate business. He then left me all of his money! Now, I worked real hard being a trust fund baby! It was had selling that stolen land to the highest bidder! Sometimes, I had to work past Noon!!
Y'all should take a lesson from me: if you work hard, there's rewards!!
Only the Republican Party can help you deal with stolen money!!
And kids remember, WOrk on Wall Street, vote Republican, and as the Bible says, Fuck thy Neighbor and you'll be all right!
Priase Jesus!
Anyone else getting bored of April Fool's articles?
In all seriousness, Ruby's designers are so capricious, that this isn't really that far from a possibility.
Way off topic, but, HOW THE FUCK DO I TURN OFF THE COMBO BOXES IN THE STORY? Seriously annoying and making the story harder to read as sometimes they don't default to the correct item..
Finally, a testing framework whose objects won't mock me
raise Dead if @life_force
Like.
Stop, please stop.
Reminds me of C+/-
Funny may not give karma, but +5 Informative never made anyone snort coffee out their nose.
What a waste of a day
*RANT* it's not suppose to be about the articles, it's about the comments in them. I tired to play along and have fun, but every frickin' discussion is flooded with numb-nuts going on about how they hate April fools. OK ppl, please do this: Reach around and pull the giant stick up your butt out and either play along and try and be funny or GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR 1 DAY!. *RANT*

See subject-line above, & these "prime examples" below via links the originals of WHY hairyfeet shouldn't have gone to "ITT Tech" (because he clearly doesn't even understand how HOSTS files benefit you for added security, speed, and even to a degree extra 'anonymity' online):

P.S.=> Personally though - because hairyfeet is only a "techie"? I suspect he doesn't want people to know about HOSTS files' benefits to the end-user: Why? Because if users stop getting so much "malware-in-general" which layered security (and HOSTS) give you, he's out money...apk
