If this means I can play Full Throttle, count me in! That was one of the greatest games I've ever played, and certainly had the best opening ever made to a game.

How as this post a troll? My statement was factual, helpful, based on first-hand experience, (I love that game) and in no way soliciting response. Looks like someone out there has mod points and a chip on their shoulder.

It's too bad you didn't add a (source/reference) link to your reply.
It would have been nice if people reading it, especially if your post gets upvoted (it's at Score:2 now), could verify your statement and read more about Double Fine's plans.

I did not mod you, but: ScummVM runs on multiple architectures and lots of platforms, including non-Unix platforms that wine does not run on. Your original reply is at least a bit off topic for the thread, and you may have been modded a troll because your wine reference appears to make the assumption that the OP is running Linux.

Thats a sad kind of OS elitism then. as he said it was pure fact and related to the topic of playing a game not working with scummvm. the op did not put any OS restraints on his problem (scummvm does not run on _every_ OS either) nor is the article mentioning or excluding any OSes. so grow up and try to help people solve their issues instead of downmodding possible working solutions just cuz its not your kind of assfuckery.
