Teaching Kids Engineering By Building Cartoon Tech (hackaday.com)

The two brothers in this article are really into the PBS cartoon Wild Kratts. There's a handheld communications device called a Creaturepod on the show. With the help of mom and dad the family built a working version of the fictional hardware. Of course having Joe Grand, a well-known professional computer engineer, as the patriarch was key in this story. But the roadmap is there for this to be replicated.

Why isn't theodp and the other anti-education zealots against this? Obviously these people are only doing it to flood the market with 14 year old engineers who will take our jerbs!
Or just let them be kids and give them exposure to a lot of things and let them decide what they're interested in instead of trying to force them down a particular path. There are plenty of avenues of success (both emotional and financial) that don't involve engineering or electronics.

Why does every kid need to be an engineer? It makes no sense.
This is nothing more than blog spam written by the wife of the "engineer" in question. So he built a prototype of something based off a cartoon, doesn't seem any more impressive than that.
This sounds like great family time together. Kids working with their parents on any project, be it gardening, making same kind of art work, working on the car, whatever, is how children should spend a lot of their time. Far better than plopping them in front of a TV or game console.
I can't stand this kind of advice. Here are the problems:
What if I missed the boat on starting young?
If I'm starting young, how do I know what fascinates them? (at some point everything is fascinating to a child, including their own feces)
Can we stop giving this kind of useless advice to people? It doesn't add anything to the story anyway.

With the right tools farming is not that difficult, and doesn't have to be a giant 'farming' operation to grow your food. In my post above I said farming/growing your food isn't going to be an option soon. That's because of the jew takeover of all the food/land/resources/ and other systems, and that is because morons didn't bother to pay attention, morons have sucked down every 'convenience', ignored bogus 'wars', 'bailouts' mass immigration, mass 'welfare' parasites, and jew cabal schemes to weaken others power while they got their weapons. Morons failed to anything, even some physical labor to control their own food supply, and instead sucked down every 'tech', all of the bogus false 'life' made up by jews.
Many will be dying soon from the chemtrail virus. Those leftover are going to wish they could grow/control their food. The choice will be gone soon. We have all been nano chipped from the chemtrails for 'wireless' control, which nano chips are still building with every breath of chemtrail air. Those not killed by the virus will be controlled by 'wireless', that is what the 'smart grid' and 'ipv6' is for. They will be told what to eat, where to live, what to do and everything else. Ignorance has consequence. Real life is getting off your ass, growing food, making weapons, being in a tribe, and making sure a giant tribe of jews doesn't accumulate trillions in weapons to kill you with. Too late now.
