Privacy Group Sues The FBI, Demanding Details About Biometric Database Sharing (onthewire.io)

Trailrunner7 writes: A major privacy group has filed a lawsuit against the FBI to force the bureau to release all relevant documents about its plan to share a huge amount of biometric information with the Department of Defense. The lawsuit filed by EPIC (Electronic Privacy Information Center) concerns the FBI's Next Generation Identification (NGI) system, which comprises fingerprint, iris scan, and facial recognition data, and the bureau has been using it for several years... EPIC's lawsuit asks that the FBI be forced to release records about the plan to share NGI data with the Department of Defense under the Freedom of Information Act. EPIC filed a FOIA request about the plan last year and though the FBI said it has located 35 pages of records that are responsive to the request, it hasn't released any of those records.

Just put the people who performed the OPM or DNC hacks on it. I'm sure they can release that data and a whole lot more data revealing even more illegal/unconstitutional crap that the FBI/US Gov. has not revealed to anyone.

It's a very sad state when people start to trust hackers and hostile foreign governments more than they trust their own government.

I think Republicans control is only one state short of being able to call for such a convention.

Thanks, Obama. Your divisive pushing of strictly "progressive" government has pissed of 2/3 of the country, and the next few Supreme Court justices are going to be strict conservatives rammed right up Harry Reid's dirty ass using his own nuclear option.

      Really?

      Did you forget about this:

Obama - "If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun."

So, hell yes I can blame Obama. He's earned every bit of it - because he's NOT a "cog" or "puppet" - he's the President - the leader.

Anyway, how about I add Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi to that list?

Remember how Democrats had to weasel to pass Obamacare after Scott Brown beat Fauxcahontas? (B-b-b-but she has "high cheekbones"! That allows her to pervert affirmative action set-asides...)

Remember how Democrats destroyed the Senate filibuster to cram hard "progressive" judges through, using the nuclear option, and were arrogantly saying that once they gained control of the Senate when Hillary! won (BWAAA HAAA HAAA!!!), they'd use the nuclear option to ram Garland through to replace Scalia?

But please, let those Dems keep marginalizing themselves, thinking that their echo chambers of NY and San Francisco represent the country - the country they've driven to be 2/3 controlled by Republicans.
