Facebook Messenger Kids App Is Expanding (fortune.com)
Facebook's controversial Messenger Kids app is heading outside the U.S. to Canada and Peru. From a report: As part of the expansion, the social networking giant said Friday that it would also debut Spanish and French language versions of the children's messaging app that are now available in all three countries where the service is available. Facebook introduced Messenger Kids in December, pitching it as a safer way for children under 13 to chat with friends while sending them silly GIFs, emoji, and other goofy digital imagery. Unlike the core Facebook social networking service or other messaging apps, Facebook said that Messenger Kids does not display any online ads or allow kids to buy things within the app.
What parent, in their conscious, stable mind would allow his/her kids on facebook? Intelligent, thinking people should have already deleted their accounts.
FB Kids is behaving like the cancer it is. Growing as fast as the host will permit.

I would respect Facebook more if they just admitted the truth. They want to indoctrinate children into the religion of Facebook before they fully develop their critical thinking faculties.

This is facebook wanting to capture the market space that youtube has been doing so well with unboxers and the like. Facebook, the one with a founding father quoted for turfing his only friend, screwing over twins and blogging about chicks that would not touch him with a 10foot barge pole. And you want them to occupy your childrens space? Fuck no. Go outside you dumb motherfuckers and look at what phones have done to adults. Parents, don’t allow your children to walk around nose down. Teach them to stand head held high and aware of the possibility of a wonderful life outdoors.
Make your kid a first on the generation for whom facebook have information going all the way back into their childhood. Give that creepy cunt Zuckerberg everything he wants.
