Digital Cuts Alpha Prices

This article from Steve Borho discusses how Digital is being forced to remain competitive with the new faster/cheaper wintel boxes by cutting prices by as much as 50% on it's Alpha hardware. I still can't afford one... anyone want to donate one to Slashdot?
