Lee Kindness writes "Tom Christiansen, of Perl fame, has posted an article to gnu.misc.discuss (Message-ID: (6jvuc3$dg4$1@csnews.cs.colorado.edu), not on Dejanews yet) about the GNU wishlist. Part of the GNU task list requests: "A good free manual for Perl. (There are proprietary books, but these are no good, because they are being withheld from our community by their owners.)" Tom responds that the Perl Manual is indeed 'free' "
