FCC to cut school net funding
The FCC has decided that
they will be cutting school net funding
by around 43%. This questionable move came after intense
pressure in Congress, and partially because the telcos
promised to raise rates to pay their share of it, something
that the FCC dearly wants to avoid. I dunno-maybe it's just
me, but trying to put net access in schools to help create
more wired kids-the whole
decision to do it, and do it right seems like a no-brainer.
