Crack.com closes shop

Apparently crack.com is closing. Source code to Golgotha has been released, under a very liberal license, so we can hope to see free spin-offs. However it's a shame to see one of the few Linux game companies go under. Anybody want to employ Dave Taylor and Steven Wilson? Anybody know why this happened? Thanks to Jef Waite for the pointer.
