Robert X. Cringley caught claiming Stanford Ph.D

Apparently, Robert X. Cringley, the PBS analyst who writes good articles about Linux and technology in general has a skeleton in his cupboard: The Standford daily states that has been passing himself off as a former Stanford professor and PhD. when he was really only a teaching assistant. update A reporter from the Boston Globe kindly pointed out to me that I must have misread the article, which does not state that he has an MSc. So I've corrected it. Perhaps Robert himself would like to point us to what he really does have?
